We believe recovery and wellbeing do not end at hospital discharge. True recovery continues at home, supported by people who care.

    Shopping support

Because I am completely bedbound, getting the right food in was really difficult. Home From Hospital Care collected my shopping list each week and bought the items I actually wanted, not just the basics. Having someone take time to chat with me also helped, especially as I no longer speak to my family.

      Supported Shopping Trips

I had not been out of the house for months and felt extremely nervous about going out again. With support, I managed to go to the local shop and later even the post office, which felt like a huge step. I felt happier afterwards and was very grateful for the help.

        Benefits and Practical Support

I was very stressed and felt like I had no help after losing my sight. Someone visited me, explained the support that might be available, and helped me contact my doctor so my needs could be assessed properly. I appreciated having someone take the time to discuss everything with me.

        General Question

We try to provide as much information as possible about our services and offerings.

We currently deliver community support projects including energy advice, income maximisation support, carbon monoxide alarms, winter warmer packs, and befriending groups. Our original Home from Hospital service is temporarily paused while we seek funding to relaunch it.
